Project Description

“Digital You(th)” is designed for young people coming from rural and remote areas of Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova, aged between 18 and 30. Implementation of the youth exchange is planned for 01-12 September 2019 in a spa town Dilijan, Armenia. The project will increase participants’ digital literacy in the field of digital marketing and reduce the risk of being unsuccessful while kicking off own business or social projects. With this initiative we aim at improving peer to peer learning among participants, providing a safe, informal environment of self-expression, likewise encouraging each participants’ full involvement in all stages of the project “Digital You(th)” will allow focusing on the most demanded skills, competencies and knowledge in the field of digital marketing, which can serve as an efficient base for rural youth unemployment reduction, promotion of business initiatives, promotion of social campaigns and projects, participants’ labor competitiveness increase, development of involved partners’ capabilities, etc. We aim to increase participants’ overall digital literacy and specific skills in digital marketing. Topics, such as branding, corporative style & values, social networks, and specific marketing tools will be the main components of our project. The whole youth exchange will be based on non-formal learning methods and approaches.

 

Our Goals and Objectives

– To increase the level of the participants’ digital and entrepreneurial literacy;
– To introduce the most demanded digital tools supporting business promotion and growth;
– To develop participants’ skills and competencies in various modern digital tools;
– To make it possible for the participants to get more chances for a better job via developing their competitive advantages;
– To promote mutual understanding, intercultural discourse, social engagement, and unity between young people in different countries;
– To view consider opportunities of Erasmus + program from different angles such as mobility, youth employment, and non-formal education, etc.

 

Dates and venue

Participants will be accommodated in double/triple rooms. They will be provided with 3 time buffet food and 2 coffee breaks per day. The hotel provides bedsheets and towels as well. We strongly ask group leaders to inform host organization about participants’ special needs, such as allergy, special diet, food, etc. A separate menu will be prepared for vegetarians.

Fnancial conditions

THIS SECTION INCLUDES COSTS AND TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT
Youth Exchange will be implemented in the frames of the ERASMUS+ Programme. Board and accommodation will be covered by the hosting organization. The travel costs will be reimbursed for the cheapest and direct way of transport and only under the condition that the participant will take part in the whole project. The travel costs will be reimbursed up to the certain amount according to Erasmus+ rules. Only the tickets that were confirmed by us will be reimbursed. Participants’ travel from arrival places to the project venue on 01 September, as well as their departure from the venue on 12 September will be organized by the host organization. The cost of those trips (30 EUR) will be deducted from the reimbursement amount. Thus, the maximum travel reimbursement per person is as follows:

Travel expenses will be reimbursed in Euro upon presentation of all necessary documents (see the next sections). All tickets’ costs purchased in a local currency will be converted and calculated according to the exchange rate of the month given by the European Commission (https://goo.gl/HinFm6).

Travel documents

The selected participants choose flight connections and send them to us or via the partners for confirmation. Please don’t book any tickets without our confirmation. Only the cheapest tickets will be reimbursed. We will not cover tickets with the deviation from the direct route, extra unnecessary stops and layovers. We don’t cover seat reservation fees, leisure plus tickets, flexible tariff tickets, extra travel insurances, priority boarding fees. Only 1 piece of checked-in baggage of maximum 15-23 kg will be covered. Only tickets purchased online will be reimbursed. We can’t cover travel agencies’ fees. Travel agencies invoices for the flight tickets won’t be accepted for reimbursement.

We can’t reimburse taxi or private cars, only public transport will be covered. You can arrive 2-3 days before the activity and depart 2-3 days after if you want to spend more time in Armenia on your own, provided that the tickets on these days are not more expensive than on the official travel days. Eurowings, Ryanair, Wizzair tickets should be purchased only on the websites of the airlines. Tickets purchased via KIWI website won’t be reimbursed. PRINT your flight tickets and invoices and give them to us at the youth exchange. Online Check-in (per email in PDF) is highly recommended, then you can’t lose the boarding passes.

International travel expenses can be reimbursed ONLY upon presentation of ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS stating your travel data and costs, namely:
1. Boarding passes (For round trip) ,
2. Tickets for plane/bus/train (also e-ticketes),
3. Invoices,
4. Payment checks.
Participants are requested to bring with them all mentioned documents, likewise any other payment bills, checks, tickets and payment proves that you will get during your travel. Regarding way-back tickets and boarding passes, they should be sent by post office.

Insurance Visa Please, be aware, that all participants are self-responsible for having a sufficient insurance covering personal accidents, illness, personal liability, cancellation, theft and etc. Make sure you have a travel insurance valid in Armenia for the whole project duration.

Participants coming from project partner countries DO NOT NEED A VISA to enter the Republic of Armenia. Participants should only present a valid International Passport. More information at http://www.mfa.am/en/visa/

All national teams will be in charge of:
– Preparing 1-2 sessions dedicated to the topics of digital education and entrepreneurship;
– Preparing 1-2 sessions about state of the art digital tools;
– Preparing a presentation of current situation of local youth unemployment and digital education in their country;

– Presenting their organization/non-formal group;
– Preparing and running energies, team building activities, name games and etc.

Methodology

The whole youth exchange will be based on non-formal education. Different methods, such as outdoor education, hiking trips, business simulation activities, co-operative games, individual work, small discussion groups, plenary work, group dynamics and etc. will be used.

Youth Exchange opportunity in Trento, Italy

We are looking for Moldovan people to participate on the project Youth Exchange “EMOJI! EMOtional Intelligence as facilitator of intercultural dialogue” in Italy!

Trento is the capital city of the autonomous province of Trentino Alto-Adige, situated in North Italy. The city is a major educational, scientific and political centre with sheltering the University of Trento which is ranked among the best universities in Italy and in Europe. Having the advantage of being a university city, Trento enjoys a number of student oriented cultural activities also at an international level. Trento is well-connected to the neighbouring cities through railway, among others, Verona in about one hour and Bolzano in 40 minutes. Some lakes can be reached in about 1,5 hours from Trento, like Caldonazzo or Garda Lake. About the project:

Why did we decide to cover the theme of emotional intelligence? Because empathy is typically associated with emotional intelligence as it is related to an individual connecting personal experiences with experiences of the others. At the same time, nowadays the psycologists emphasize strong connection between the emotional intelligence and your employability – studies have proven that people with higher EI have greater mental health, job performance and leadership skills.

Accommodation:

The hosting structure is located in Villazzano, beautiful suburb of Trento situated up the hill, thus disposing a beautiful panoramic view on the city of Trento and the mountains around. This hosting structure is situated in a nice safe area, that disposes a supermarket, a pharmacy and all the necessary in case of emergency places, on a walking distance from the house where the participants are hosted. The structure has 2 meeting rooms, a big spacious park outside with a soccer field, that during the summer we might be extensively using for the energeziers and maybe even some of the other planned activities. It has spacious kitchen and a dining room that can host at the same time over 35 people with all the necessary facilities for cooking and organizing meals. The house disposes rooms for 2, 4 and 6 people, each with private bathroom.

Training course in Turku, Finland

We are looking for Moldovan Participans that are interested in a training course in Turku, Finland.

About the project
The project aims to introduce board games as a tool for involving young people into youth organizations and initiate a dialogue with them through training youth workers to develop table-top games with educational value. The training is designed to equip participants with knowledge and skills of need assessment and learning design tools as well as to empower participants to take out of the box approach in youth work through using board games in particular. Participants are foreseen to increase the capacity of own organizations, bring innovative approaches and make use of the gained learning in their daily life with young people as well as contribute with spreading the created materials in their work network.

The project sets next objectives:
– To discuss youth trends and behaviors in the countries that partner in the project and identify possible support measures that can be done by individual youth workers
– To introduce board games as a tool for involvement of young people and explore successful examples of the use of board games in youth work
– To equip participants with methods for idea development and learning design that is transferrible to any topics
– To equip participants with tools for developing board games with educational value based on relevant social issues or necessary competences for youth
– To develop a set of educational board games to be used in the youth work field
– To test created board games with the local youth of Turku through a public event
– To create an online printable board game resource for youth workers & youth leaders to be used internationally

Profile of the participants:
The training course’s target group consists of youth workers, youth leaders, youth trainers and educators, youth work/ educational science students that work with young people in their daily work life or frequent voluntary activities, especially with hard to reach young people and those representing minority groups. Participants should have specific interest to discover innovative approach in youth work, be ready to experiment and commit to working on creating a board game and it’s later development and dissemination. Participants should have at least good command of verbal & written English and be available for the whole project time (preparation, main activity, material development, dissemination, evaluation). Knowledge of non-formal learning and youth related topics will be beneficial for a productive process and enhanced experience sharing.

The European Voluntary Service (EVS) provides young Europeans with the unique chance to develop themselves through voluntary activities in a foreign country within or outside the EU.

We enable Polish young people from Pomeranian region to go abroad to work as volunteers.The European Voluntary Service (EVS) is open for all young people aged 18 to 30. The project can last minimum 2 weeks up to 12 months.

We also host young people from European countries for long-term voluntary service in our office and also in other NGOs and institutions in the city of Gdynia.

Volunteering in a nursing home in Bolzano, Italy

We are looking for 2 moldovan girls for a volunteering project in Bolzano-Bozen, Italy.

 

DURATION: 01/05/2019 to 30/04/2020

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

For the first deadline of ESC 2018 InCo has started to look for 2 future volunteers from for our partner organisation ASSB, based in Bolzano. ASSB manages several nursing homes. The service starts in February 2019 for 1 year. Proposed Activities: Volunteers will collaborate with the staff of nursing homes mainly with recreational and entertainment activities planned for the elderly. In particular volunteers will be involved in the following activities: • organizing recreational activities for the elderly/handicapped people, • talking to them, • reading something, • participating in some excursions of one or more days, • making different kind of purchases (e.g. food, medicine for the guests), • support of the educators in the activities of assistance, • care and rehabilitation, • accompanying the elderly with walking difficulties, • participating in the evaluation meetings • and planning certain matters with the educators and social workers etc.

 

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

You will get free accommodation for the whole duration of your voluntary service. You will live in a single room with shared bathroom, laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen with cooking facilities. During working days, you will eat your lunch in the canteen of the elderly home/handicapped centre. You will get a transport card for free.

 

TRAINING DURING THE PROJECT

You will attend the training managed by the Italian National Agency and in addition you will take par in the monitoring meetings organised by InCo Association.

Youth Exchange “YOU(th), ME(dia), trUSt 2.0” in Moldova!

We are looking for two Moldovan people to participate on the project Youth Exchange “YOU(th), ME(dia), trUSt 2.0”

Date: April 10-18th, 2019
Project venue: Vadul-lui-Voda

Vadul-lui-Voda is a small town on river Dniester located 23 km from Chisinau, the capital of Moldova (and your arrival point). There are several resorts, small hotels, beach, parks and other things that make this place attractive for locals during the summertime. It is not recommended however, to swim in the river and walking around the area in the nighttime, but we are sure we will be fully satisfied with resting in the hotel area.

About the project:

This project is the 2nd part of the “YOU(th), ME(dia), trUSt” project and has the objective to gather the results of local activities made by each national team, after gaining new media skills in the first stage. The aim of this project is to make young people aware of different kinds of media manipulation. When young people become aware of media manipulation the changes that they recognize the manipulation will be bigger. The general objectives of the project are:
– To develop skills of analyzing articles from mass-media
– To raise awareness among young people, about the necessity of checking the validity of sources and information
– To increase the confidence of young people to talk loud about their ideas
– To raise confidence to create own blog/vlog/media portal
– To raise the level of tolerance and appreciation for diversity in all its forms: culture, opinions, life choices.

The project will follow the non – formal educational approach, the methods will provide active participation of young people, youth leaders and inspire them through creative activities.

Accommodation:

Participants will be hosted in a cozy and friendly private hotel. The hotel is fully equipped; you will be accommodated in rooms by 3, 4, 5. The hotel is located in a very nice green area. The hotel has a swimming pool and nice cozy chilling areas. There is free wi-fi access in the venue.

Volunteering with children in Italy

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

VKE is an association of volunteers, founded in Bolzano in 1974 by a group of parents, who wanted to dedicate themselves to emphasizing children’s and young people’s right to play and creating playing areas for them, but also to the improvement of children’s life quality, as well as that of the youth and their families in general. The main activities of VKE are: 1. “Spielbus/Ludobus” a small bus with several games to visit the different comunities of the Province of Bolzano offering children the opportunity to play and learn together. 2. “SpielHaus/CasaGioco” is a small house for the promotion of the free time where children can find different games. 3. “Estate Ragazzi VKE” are summer camps for children aged between 3 and 14 years. The volunteers’ tasks may include: participation in the organization and implementation of games in the frame of the “Spielbus/Ludobus” and of the game centers (“Spielhaus/Centri Giochi”), support in the organization and development of summer centers, organization and realization of workshops about their own country or about Europe, organization of inter-cultural activities together with the other volunteers, raising awareness about the youths’ right to play.

We are looking for a Moldovan volunteer to participate in the project called „Spiralen, Permakulturhagen i Sarpsborg” in Norway!

About the project SPIRALEN: 
Our goal is to establish a permaculture garden and is 10 years project started in 2014 with guidance from Change the World. We made a plan to make this an open garden people can visit with information about growing your own food.

This garden is called Spiralen. It’s about starting small and achieve big things – to start with yourself and contribute to a sustainable development. But what is a permaculture garden?  Permaculture as a system is nothing new. Permaculture organizes existing resources in a way that saves energy or produces more energy than used.

Spiralen will have 3 vegetable gardens that each will have different animals that will work the soil and remove weeds and left over vegetables. We have to vegetable gardens now and one have chickens and the other have cute rabbits. We also cultivate a star bed that provides a great environment for growth which is an important principle in ecological cultivation. In the middle of Spiralen is our large maze which is decorated by graffiti artist Are Burås.

We have our own bonfire and it’s a meeting point for parties and activities with the world most decorated roost build with pallets and outlooks the basil garden. Chicken and gardens is a good match. They process the soil in a gentle and efficient way and give us healthy eggs in return. Our eatable “jungle” is well underway and the fruit forrest will provide different fruits. We also have beehives and in the future we will also have goats, water feature and a large greenhouse. Volunteers can apply for all projects or only for one of them, but they cannot choose a specific working place. We will divide these together with the hosting organizations in the way we feel how is best according to your profile and the needs of the working place, we do this after the interviews and after an assessment of the skills of the candidate and the needs of the organization.

About the organization: 
Friends For Understanding is a youth organization that focuses on a sustainable society and works with youth from other countries. We are a free-standing organization with its own board and is registered in Brønnøysund with organization number 995 492 385. We’re also registered in Frivillighetsregisteret and was started in 2006. So far we have been using activities from EU’s Aktiv Ungdom. Our organization grows every year and is approved as sender and receiver of international volunteers and coordinating organization in European Volunteer Services (EVS).

EVS is a peace project and focuses on sharing culture resources and offers the volunteers to get new friends and activities in the locale region.

FFU focus and teaches about locale, regional and international sustainable solutions for the future. We have started establishing a permaculture garden in Sarpsborg and will be located on the south side out looking Skjeberg Kirke and is named Spiralen. We believe agriculture plays a big part of the global environment and we teaches how to be more independent.

Profile of the volunteers and selection process:
The Volunteer will be assisting the project leader in her work in creating a permaculture garden. He/she will take care of animals, plants and make buildings for different purposes, fences and elements inside the project. He/she will also be a group leader or group assistant on childrens holiday club and other events with children.

Training in Bansko, Bulgaria

We are looking for 4 Moldovan participants (youth workers) for a training of trainers in Bansko, Bulgaria

Duration: 8-16th of May

This training is part of a big project with many activities, therefore the participants of the training should be available for further activities.Participants should be committed to be the part of the project’s all phases and be able to take part in Job Shadowing which will take place in Blagoevgrad ,
Bulgaria from 1-9 June or in Turku, Finland 23-31th of May.

 

The objectives of the whole project:

– To equip involved organisations with knowledge in human rights and democratic citizenship;
– To develop critical human rights consciousness in youth workers and educators directly and their peers indirectly;
– To give training competencies to the youth workers and educators to have thorough knowledge and understanding of the
discipline’s objectives and principles and appropriate teaching and learning methods.
– To develop new bottom-up approaches in human rights education and education for democratic citizenship;
– To bring an online-dimension to human rights education by creating a tool to educate, validate, recognize and reflect on the learning – to create a badge of Human Rights Ambassador (to give a better understanding visit the following link, it’s an example that we have developed last year with our partners, but only piloted: https://www.badgecraft.eu/en/projects/1237/badges);
– To identify effective methods to increase youth participation and enchant youth workers and young people with human rights;
– To strengthen respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms in youth and empower them to become active democratic citizens who stand up for human rights (HRE for Transformative Action (Monisha Bajaj – Human Rights Education: Ideology, Location, and Approaches);
– To further the activities of partner organizations aimed at the creation of a culture of peace, based upon universal values of Human Rights

Objectives of the training:

o Increasing the competences of youth leaders, youth workers and educators in the field of anti-hate
speech activism and Human Rights Education
o Increasing the international dimension of youth work, notably with reference to human rights
education through using digital technologies and art.
o introducing the badges system, how and where it work; badges
o Assuring a long term, sustainable increase in quality of partner organisations’ work with human rights
issues to prepare participants and organisations for the fellowship, give them set of competences which
will ease their learning during the whole process.
